The CEB partner country 2018: France

Energy efficiency plays a key role in France’s energy transition

France plans to increase energy efficiency in French industry with several measures. For example, the 2015 Energy Transition Act sets a target of halving primary energy consumption by 2050. The Industry of the Future program includes a radical modernization of the production apparatus. The overriding goal of increasing the competitiveness of the French economy also calls for improvements in productivity and efficiency.

France as partner country of the CEB®

The partner country concept of the CEB® promotes the exchange and networking of international experts beyond the country’s borders. The all-day Forum France offers the opportunity to learn about the French market and to make contact with potential French business partners.

In the trade fair advisory board of the CEB®, institutions such as the EIFER European Institute for Energy Research and TRION-climate e.V. support cross-border networking.

France is after Germany the most important exhibitor country of the trade fair.
